Get To Know The Brand: An Inside Look

In the vibrant pulse of a Caribbean city during the mid-20th century, Anna and Pierre were not merely pillars of their community; they were its very heartbeat. Pierre, a dedicated and industrious businessman, poured his heart into supporting his family and elevating those around him. His quiet yet profound acts of generosity were the lifeblood of the community, providing opportunities and comforts that many could only dream of.

Their home, always open and brimming with warmth, became a treasured sanctuary. Mornings saw locals stopping by to share friendly gossip with Anna as she savored her strong coffee on the front porch. The air was filled with the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, mingling with the laughter and heartfelt conversations that turned their home into a haven of connection and joy. Anna and Pierre’s home was where friendships blossomed and memories forged, creating a deep sense of belonging and unity.

Though Pierre is no longer with us, Anna remains a radiant symbol of strength and warmth. As their granddaughter, I’m deeply honored to carry forward their legacy. Inspired by their boundless generosity and the strong sense of community they fostered, I’m overjoyed to open a café in their name: Anna et Pierre - Le Café.

To honor their enduring impact, our logo features a handwritten "et," meaning "and" in French, lovingly added by my grandmother, Anna. This personal touch bridges the past with the future, connecting our heritage with the community we aim to nurture.

Welcome to Anna et Pierre - Le Café, where every sip and savor embodies the legacy of love, tradition, and connection that Anna and Pierre championed.

Join us in celebrating their remarkable story and continuing their tradition of making everyone feel at home.

MY JOURNEY TIMELINE

2010

Traveled the world exploring coffee shops and connecting with locals to learn about their tastes and preferences, all while appreciating the unique decor that reflects each community's character.

2021

Moved to Colorado, where I immersed myself in the vibrant local coffee scene, drawing ongoing inspiration from the diverse cafés and their creative atmospheres.

2023

I returned to New York to be closer to family. While embracing the change, I longed for the peaceful state of mind I had enjoyed in Colorado and the strong sense of community that enriched my experience there.

2024

I continued to refine my vision for a café, contemplating its design and location. Each month, I took my plans more seriously, exploring possible sites outside the city with trips to the Hudson Valley. I applied for permits and met with local officials to discuss my ideas.

In the spring, I discovered a magical opportunity, creating a space where people could share moments and nurture a budding community along the Hudson. I knew the journey would be challenging; it meant living in a hotel for a month and, during a busy summer, finding contractors to help bring my vision to life. Fortunately, the universe pointed me in the right direction.

I was terrified of what the unknown could mean for me and my family. Financially, it was going to be the biggest test, but I realized that sometimes you just have to take the leap and go for it. Life is unpredictable, so why not embrace it fully? In these moments, you discover what you're truly made of, and the growth you experience is a lesson that can’t be taught—you just have to be open to it. Everyone around you is ultimately there to help you succeed, as we are all interconnected in this intricate dance of life.
